| This model is a
“Digital Programmable Model with Automatic cutting facility for the
flowing extrudate based on time”. The model falls in to the
bracket of Semi-Economical Version and facilitates users by its
fully automatic features of operation that includes preheating time,
test time, number of test cuts to be obtained with Auto cutting
arrangement of flowing extrudate.
This melt indexer model is supplied with all
the required masses such as 1.2 kg, 2.16 kg, 3.8 kg, 5 kg and
21.6 kg (10 kg being a part in combination of 21.6 kg mass can
be used separately). Equipment comes with an accurate PID
controller having range up to 400 degree C and resolution of 0.1
degree Centigrade. System accuracy measured within 8 to 10 mm
from surface of orifice shows maximum deviation of +0.2 degree C
of the set point.
Standard accessories supplied with the equipment would include
Tungsten carbide orifice, Piston, Orifice cleaner, Material
charges, Barrel cleaner, tweezer, Mirror, Sample cutter and
Plumbline.
