Peel / Bond Tester to check the adhesive strength between two samples.
The Digital Peel Tester (peel / bond tester) is used to check the adhesive strength between two samples. In flexible packaging and laminates, the strength of the bond between layers — and of heat seals — determines whether a pack stays intact through filling, transport and storage. In the test, the two layers are peeled apart and the machine records the force needed to separate them, giving a clear measure of bond or seal strength.
With a load capacity of up to 5 kg, one load cell, cross travel up to 250 mm and a speed of 300 mm/minute, the tester provides a direct digital display of the peak load. It is widely used for laminates, multilayer films, pouches, labels and adhesive tapes, and pairs naturally with the Heat Sealer for evaluating heat-seal strength. Equipment with other capacities can be supplied as required.
