Digital Zero Degree Chamber for conditioning of pipes for impact test, as per IS 4984 and IS 12235 (Part 9).
The Digital Zero Degree Chamber is used for the conditioning of pipes for impact testing, as per IS 4984 and IS 12235 (Part 9). Plastic pipes become more brittle at low temperatures, so impact tests are carried out on samples conditioned to a standard low temperature — typically 0°C. The chamber holds specimens at that reference temperature for the required time so that impact results are accurate, consistent and comparable.
With a 16″ × 16″ × 16″ working chamber, a stainless-steel inner bath and a CFC-free compressor, the unit provides stable, eco-friendly cooling for routine pipe conditioning. It is commonly used together with the Impact Tester for Pipes as part of a complete pipe quality-control setup.
