Laboratory hot air oven with radial air circulation and auto-shut facility.
The Hot Air Oven is a laboratory oven with radial air circulation and an auto-shut facility, used for ageing, drying, curing and conditioning of rubber, plastics and other materials at a controlled temperature. In rubber testing it is widely used for accelerated ageing — holding samples at elevated temperature for a set time to study how properties such as hardness, tensile strength and elongation change as the material ages.
The standard oven has a 12″ × 12″ × 12″ working chamber and a temperature range from ambient to 250°C. A radial fan re-circulates the same hot air for uniform temperature and saves at least 20% power, while a digital presettable timer (up to 999 minutes) and auto-shut facility add convenience and safety. Ovens with other chamber sizes can be supplied as required.
